Wink The presidency wouldnt leave much room for music. Wait, didnt that say that W took August off? Mmm, maybe there is time. Clinton had time for interns and cigars, I can make time for Sonar. We can have a GTMBA show in the ballroom. How's that sound?

Well, Clark is out. I guess that means I'll be spending a lot less time this election in front of a TV and in the news, and alot more time, hm, oh, I dont know. Some of my kitchen cabinets could use a good cleaning, and I've been meaning to rebuild 2 of my computers. Now I will have plenty of time for all of that, plus my second CD. This may bump it up by 6 months. Clark dropping out frees up so much time for me to focus on other things. It's wonderful. I suppose.

[sigh]

I don't know about all of that sort of goings on, but I was hoping he had a chance at the presidency. As it's playing out, it seems more like facing a decision between AC and DC whilst on the electric chair, and unfortunately, the cleanliness of my cabinets takes precedence under such circumstances.

What is the prob with Kerry? Is he a mutant mudwrestler disguised as a horse? I saw the recent 60 minutes interview. He gave the impression of being a pretty decent dude.

The dubya did on the other hand give me the impression of watching an episode of "The Muppet Show" dubbed into a long lost tibetan dialect. You guys remember that episode where the monster muppet thingie was in preemptive strike mode? Yeah, truly a scary moment! Being rich and being able to afford expensive and esoteric drugs obviously aren´t good for you. Or the rest of the world.. If Kerry is lucky, Bush will leave a slot of land in Alaska which is not too bad.. in case you have half decent fallout shelter. And they worry about global warming?

...of course, when one discusses incestuous squealings , it's not easy to overlook the Bush family and politics.

Kerry has not quite set off my own bullshit detector yet. He does stress certain principles which all sounds pretty sound. And his wife is cute too. They seem to be having fun together. The guy can hardly be bad.

I want a leader, not a businessman, not a tool, not just a policy-maker. I want a real deal "This sucks and we're going to fix it, now" leader. If every candidate is going to chime in in virtually the same fashion on a given issue, essentially hitting the must-do topics and the classic campaign favorites, then chalk those up as being non-issues (even if they are relevant, they are being used as political tools, and are, at least to some degree, invalidated as criteria for candidate selection) in the campaign. Do that, and there tends to be suprisingly little actual content left.

And I am not saying he's bad. He's probably a great guy. But there are millions of great guys, maybe even hundreds of millions of them, and being a great guy does not a viable president make.

Adolph and Eva probably had fun together too, from time to time. Do not be deceived by the impression of merit.

Aha.. ok... over here we have had a mixed success with those guys. One of them did at least make decent "autobahns". Too bad he fixed too many "problems" while he was at it.

Well, yeah. Being a doer and being good have nothing to do with one another. If you're do nothing evil, then there isnt alot to worry about, I guess. But that is not what we're after here, or, as things may turn out, perhaps it is after all. Certainly not what I am after.

It's so unfortunate that A. we have fallen to the point where we literally have zero hope whatsoever in the political and democratic (sigh) processes, and B. we are, for the most part, correct. There is an inherent degree of bullshit in both, of course, but that doesn't mean the b.s. cannot be actively and consciously averted. This is not an automated system. This isnt like watching a movie, but it has been made to seem that way to the majority of those who are able to participate. I dont care how rigged it may happen to be, that is b.s., and I chose not to acknolege it in any sense other than as something to fight adamantly against.
