I would first like to say what an honor it was to have Howard Moscovitz, Greg Waltzer, Bill Manganaro, and Jez Creek in collaboration at EM09 for the LIVE Space Port Zero Nine!
It was tremendous fun...even though I was totally exhausted by that point in the festival. But, a wonderful way to spend Halloween
Listening to the recording of the set has blown me away. It was difficult to hear everyone's contributions at the time on stage. Now that I can hear everyone, It's a really great meshing of sounds. It will be posted on the forum soon to share.
It was also an equal honor to play in the British Invasion collaboration on Friday night with Jez Creek, Bill Manganaro, and Edison Rex. Both collaborations were amazing acts of improvisation that are beautiful treasures that I will listen back to for some time to come. Thanks for sharing your music with me!
Due to educational circumstances (need to do my homework) I will be taking a short hiatus from my weekly broadcast. I hope to return to the air in a few weeks when I get things under control before the end of the semester.
In the meantime, I will be playing shows from the Space Port archives at the same time on Friday evenings for a few weeks.
Thanks to everyone for supporting the Port!
It's been wonderful so far ... and I look forward to many more!

For the second half of the show...Blue Hell played the set backwards! Amazingly it sounds good both ways

This was my first full live broadcast in quite a while. Thanks to Jan and Howard for getting everything squared away so quickly with the downed radio server.
It was also my first show I used the itouch live. I used synthpond at the beginning and bloom at the end.
This show was not recorded and was only experienced live.
Thanks to everyone that listened in! _________________ ElectroCasa
Space Port Zero Nine ~ Dec 11 2009
Fathers and Mothers
Well to my surprise this morning... I had forgotten that I had set the stream to record in edcast. So I do have a recording from last night show after all. yay!
Inspired from my conversation with State Machine after the show, tonight's show is entitled, Fathers and Mothers and dedicated to all of our Parents and loved ones.
to everyone that listened and supported Space Port Zero Nine in 2009! It has been a lot of fun and a wonderful beginning in the realm of streaming audio.
Special thanks to Jan Punter for kindly assisting me to air the shows when my streaming abilities were hampered and to Howard Moscovitz for creating this wonderful playground for us.
I will be returning to the airwaves soon with a new show (title forthcoming) continuing my live performances on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 00:00 GMT. Hope to see ya there!

Glad to see you will be continuing your streaming performances here, Shane. I am looking forward to it. Hope you have a name soon so it can be listed on the schedule. Hmmmm. Until you have a name can it be listed somehow?

I am unfortunately not going to be able to start my new show yet after all. Things didnt quite work out as planned and I have to devote my attention the next couple of weeks to finishing up a History class.
I will be in a much better position for time and creativity once I have finished this class.

Yup, school work comes first!! In the meantime, we have lots of variety to listen to with the new playlists--which include vintage episodes of Space Port Zero Nine and performances from of other streamed events.
