Nope... actual Viking era norse religion does not say anything about reincarnation... rather a pleasant afterlife in Valhalla... I guess that one iin modern terms can be compared to... hmm.. spending the afterlife in that great electro-music.com forum in the sky or something...
And no.. I do not think that the forum will morph back into recycled photons even if the omnipotent mosc changes his avatar again...
hmm-..-... well.. I do not have the statistics to prove it... but I am pretty sure..

I remember this one from Musician - Player and Listener in the mid eighties:
Tom Fogerty (the older, less talented brother of John out of Creedence Clearwater) contracts pneumonia and dies. He enters the afterlife, and he's led to a room with stacks of guitar amps, guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, the lot. In fact, the greatest rehearsal space anyone ever saw. Door opens, in walks Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman conversing in hushed tones. Right behind them is Carl Radle (bass player with Eric Clapton, Delaney and Bonnie etc), Pig Pen (Grateful Dead keysman/singer)and other extinct musos. Tom Fogerty says "I get it, I died and went to Heaven, right?" Hendrix rolls his eyes and says "HEAVEN? YOU THINK THIS IS HEAVEN?" Door opens again, and in walks Karen Carpenter, who promptly occupies the drums and says "Okay, Yesterday Once More! ONE, TWO THREE......."
